The biggest fear that i have when giving presentations are speaking in front of a lot of people. I know I will be able to get over this fear if I continue to give presentations and work at my speaking ability.

What i like most about giving presentations is being able to have the ability to be creative in the design and to put information about different topics so people are able to gain knowledge about things they don’t know about.

The skills that i need to improve on for presentations are to make stories more interesting, and to be a better speaker.

Define the Following:

1) Chart- A chart is a visual representation of worksheet data.

2) Titles & Labels- Titles and labels are used to describe what is charted.

3) Data Series- A data series is a set of related data to be plotted on the chart.

4) Pie Chart- A pie chart can include only one series of data, with each slice representing a value from the series.

5) Bar Chart- A bar chart can include several series of data, with each bar representing a value.

6) Line Chart- A line chart can include several series of data with each line representing a series.

Some places I have seen that you have to fill out forms are:

Doctors Office- Medical History Form
Sears- Application Form
Balfour- Register for classes
Burger King- Application Form
Honda- Buying a car Form
Sears- Tax Return Form
Hospitals- Medical History Form
Passports
Health Card
SIN Card

Offices may use forms for buying materials that they need, to know their employees information in case of an emergency, for the interviewing process, knowing their employees medical history, and also to send messeges or letters to other buisnesses.

Extacurricular activities

The extracurricular activity for September 10, 2008 is Junior Boys Volleyball. I believe that school pride is when students support their school, and that they show school spirit. School pride is very important because if you don’t support your school then other students that dont attend your school won’t know how great it is. It also looks good for parents and the community because if you didn’t show school pride then the community would think that the school isn’t a good school and that they won’t want their children to attend it in the future years to come.

We have just discussed 2 types of letters: Personal Business Letter & Personal Letter

Personal Business Letters can be used for: Cover Letters, Complaint to a Business, Reference Letter

Personal Letters can be used for: Postcard, Penpal, Love Letter, Emails
